Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is a medical air emergency service covering six Midlands counties, an area of over 5,000 miles and serving 5.5 million people. The public’s generosity helps to raise the £6 million needed each year to ensure the three helicopters remain operational.
MD, Paul Mellor, said ‘We always use our annual spring concert as an opportunity to raise money for a local charity and we are delighted to be doing this year’s concert for such a great cause. Our past fund raising concerts have been very successful and I hope people will support us again to make this event our best ever’.
The team will be joined by special guests, Musica, performing songs from stage and screen.
The Inn Ringers were established in 1977 and have performed in many prestigious venues including the Barbican Centre in London. They have recorded two albums and made numerous appearances on Central TV and local radio. In 2013 they performed on BBC 2 in James May’s Man Lab.
We ask all our readers to support this very worthwhile cause.
